Employer Visibility
If you enable "Open to Employers" on your profile, verified employers can view your public-facing profile including skills and job interests.
What employers can never see: email address, phone number, PIN, demographic data (race, disability status, VA benefits), financial information, or any data you have not explicitly made public.
This separation is enforced at both the application and database level.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate the VBC platform:
- Supabase — Secure database, authentication, and file storage
- Resend — Email delivery for notifications and campaign emails

Each provider maintains their own privacy practices. We share only the minimum data required for each service to function.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords and PINs, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution.
